A lowboy trailer is a trailer that’s used to carry heavy or oversize loads. For example, Lowboys can transport heavy equipment and machinery since they are very low to the ground and sit just above it. Equipment that is tall and wide and would exceed the standard legal height and weight restrictions is perfected to be hauled by a lowboy trailer.
