Flatbed Trailer

Flatbed trailers do not have any walls making it easy to load large freight. A flatbed is the bottom portion of a trailer. A flatbed truck can be loaded from any angle.

Flatbeds are very easy to work with. Flatbeds can typically be loaded by forklifts, cranes, or other equipment.

Flatbed shipping is great for moving bulky equipment, machinery, pipes, etc. Standard dimensions for freight that a flatbed trailer can handle are up to 160’ long, 18’ tall and wide, and about 175,000 pounds. As long as weather factors aren’t a concern, flatbed shipping makes oversize shipping easy.
